Terms of use
Last updated September 2, 2026 · Draft pending counsel review. This page describes how the site works today and will be replaced by an attorney-reviewed version.
1. Using this site
This site describes the Black Books & Co.ffee training system and books and lets you request a demo, join a candidate list, join the referral program, contact us, or verify a certificate. Submitting a form is a request, not a contract.
2. What the site is not
Nothing on this site is a license, an approval, or legal or regulatory advice. In Texas, a dental office that runs an assistant-training program holds its own career-school approval from the Texas Workforce Commission. Certificates issued through the portal acknowledge completion of an office-based training program; they do not grant Texas RDA licensure, and radiology (x-ray) duties require separate certification through a TSBDE-approved course.
3. Candidates and the waitlist
Joining the candidate list or waitlist is free, creates no obligation for you or for us, does not reserve a seat, and does not guarantee admission, a class opening, or employment. Each partner office sets its own tuition, schedule and start dates once it holds its approval.
4. Referral program
Participation is governed by the written referral agreement we send after you sign up; this page does not state its terms.
5. The School Portal
Portal access is provided to enrolled students and authorised office staff. Keep your password private, use your own account only, and do not attempt to access another office’s data. We may suspend accounts that misuse the portal.
6. Content and marks
The manuals, curriculum, forms, books and this site’s content are owned by Black Books & Co.ffee or its licensors and are provided to offices under their separate agreements.
7. No warranties
The site is provided as is. We aim to keep it accurate and available but do not promise uninterrupted access.
