1. Who we are
Black Books & Co.ffee (“we”) operates this website and the School Portal for dental offices in Texas and the students they train.
2. What we collect and why
Demo requests (practice name, contact person, email, phone, city, number of operatories, hiring status) — to schedule and prepare a demo. Candidate applications and the waitlist (name, email, phone, city, your current status and availability or start timing, how you heard about us) — to tell you about partner offices opening a class near you. Referral program sign-ups (name, email, phone, region) — to send the referral agreement and track referrals. Contact messages (name, email, topic, message) — to reply to you.
School Portal accounts (name, email, role, the office you belong to, lesson progress, quiz results, hands-on competency sign-offs, evaluations, and issued certificates) — to run the training program for your office and to issue a verifiable certificate of completion. Portal logins, failed attempts, and administrative actions are recorded in an append-only audit log for security and program integrity.
3. What we do not collect
We do not take payments on this site and never ask for card details. We do not run third-party advertising or analytics scripts on this site. We do not sell personal information.
4. Who can see it
Form submissions are visible to Black Books & Co.ffee staff who follow up on them. If you are matched to a partner office as a candidate, that office receives the details needed to contact you. Within the portal, an office sees only its own students; students see only their own progress. Certificate verification at /verify shows the student name, program, issuing office, issue date and serial for a valid serial number only.
5. Email
If a lead-notification email provider is configured, submissions trigger an internal alert and may trigger a confirmation to the address you gave. Session cookies are used to keep you signed in to the portal; they are essential and not used for tracking.
6. Retention
Form submissions are kept while we may reasonably follow up and for our records of the referral and matching programs. Portal records, including progress and certificates, are retained because they document a completed training program. You may ask us to delete your form submission at the address below.
7. Your choices
Email us to access, correct or delete the information you sent through a form. Portal account changes go through your office administrator or us.
8. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and note the date above.
